Real Techniques Brushes: Stippling Brush and Miracle Complexion Sponge

Oh my gooooodness! I can not believe I now own something from Real Techniques! I been wanting to buy something from their collection but didn't have the time. Well, I did and here they are!

I brought the stippling and the sponge and I love them. I fallen in love with them so much. They have helped me be able to get a better finish of my makeup and fill in those little gaps.

The Stippling brush is pretty much recommended to finish the face makeup and help everything blend together and it has, oh, it has. I have actually read that you can use to apply foundation as well but for some reason I just feel that will ruin the brush. I don't know. I have my theories.

The Miracle Complexion Sponge is fab! Haha. It has many ways of use such as blending in concealer under the eyes and over blemishes and blending in the jawline so you don't have a horrible foundation line. It's incredibly useful!

Brilliant buy! They are both so soft for the face and able to fit into my makeup bag. Well done Real Techniques!

Question of the day: Do you own any real techniques brushes?

I'll see you all soon!

April Favorites!

To be honest, I didn't really have many favorites this month. Which is very surprising as I normally have quite a few things to show and tell but this month. Nope. Minimum items unfortunately (3. I know right). BUT! (There's has to be a but) I do have a lot to talk about these products.

I think it was around the middle of April when I came across the Big Easy BB Cream from Benefit and I knew that I have read and heard about this quite a lot. I was also on the hunt for a BB cream at that moment of time and it was a brilliant opportunity to take a look!
This BB cream has an amazing texture! I love how it goes from a liquid to a powder as soon as you apply it to the face and it feels so incredibly light that most of the time I have literally forgotten that I had it on!
You can easily build up the coverage of this by just applying extra and the good thing about this is it doesn't look unnatural when having more of it on.
This is an old favorite of mine but last month I used it nearly everyday! It is the Neal's Yard Lip Gloss and the smell of this is organismic! I also love the texture of this. Soft and smooth. It's a real spring kind of lip gloss because it has this little bit of shimmer to it and looks so nice if you are going for a natural look.

The last favorite is the love of my life....Yankee Candles. I love love LOVE Yankee Candles! I can't seem to get enough. I find the scent of these candles so calming and let's the mind turn off and relax. I always light one when watching TV or reading a book and it's so calming.
So, when I noticed that my old Yankee Candle was burning out, of course, I had to run out and found more! I have a problem, ok. The ones that I brought our Black Cherry and Lemon. I've never tried these ones before but, oh my goodness, I was in heaven! And I was so pleased that I found a lemon one as lemon is my favorite scent!

And that is it! I hope you all enjoyed your April as much as I did! Before I forget. May the fourth be with you...oh yeah. Haha. See you all soon!

Let's Have a Chat!

Hello, hello, hello! How have we've been?! I am so so sorry for abandoning this blog and believe me, it's the normal excuse of school and work....mmmhmm.

Anyway, I wanted to have a little catch up with you all! I am so grateful that this blog has become something that I love and enjoy so much and I would of never thought in a million years that I would do something like this and now here we are nearly at 100 followers! Guys! Damn. I adore every single one of you that reads this silly beauty blog of mine and I thank you. The many times I have said thank you to you all is a lot but I mean it when I say thank you for helping me, us and this little life of a blog.

So, my general updates are pretty basic. In the month of May, I will be excited and nervous and busy! First of all, it's my birthday month! YAY FINALLY WILL BE 17 AND DRIVING! Man, I am excited! Aaah! And of course, there will be a little blog post on what I get as I know you all secretly like them. I know. Then, the horrible part...exams. In May, I will not be posting a lot because of revision and exams and madness! This is the same with the beginning of June. I will be busy and exhausted and may not have time for blogging. But it doesn't mean that I won't. I will try and post a few times but unfortunately, I can not promise... BUT let's look at the bright side of life, after my exams I will be back in full swing of blogging! Yes!

Another thing, I am thinking of posting more lifestyle things like if I went somewhere nice for the day or something on the lines of that. What do you think? I would love to know!

So. That's pretty much it! Just wanted to tell you all what is going to happen so you don't all get confused and worried for absence! Hahaha. I'm like my mother, I swear! I will see you all soon!

The Daily Skin Routine..In the Morning

Mornings.... You love them or you hate them. To be honest with you all, I like them. I love that feeling of being refreshed in the morning and being excited for the day ahead! Call me mad, but, I love them! Today, I wanted to share what skin products I use in the mornings on a day to day basis. It's a pretty simple routine but it keeps my skin calm and it helps my acne problems a lot!

The first thing I use is my amazing Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. I absolutely love this stuff! The many times I have mentioned this is countless! I put a little bit of it on to a cotton pad and give a nice wipe around my face, so for the dirt and make up that I missed the night is fully removed.

Next on the list of miracles is the Visibly Clear Spot Stress Control Scrub by Neutrogena. Now this little gem has completely helped my spots contained with stress disappear! Goodbye blackheads and pimples and Hello glamorous skin! First, I give my face and neck a good wash so it is ready to be applied by the scrub, then I put only a small amount of it in to the palm of my hand and rub her hands together so it becomes thick and easy to apply, finally I rub in to my face and neck and wash it off. EASY! I do do do recommended this to anyone who is having spot stress problems.

Then, as always, I apply my Nivea Refreshingly Soft Moisturising Cream. I only put a little dab on to my cheeks, forehead, chin and nose so my face doesn't feel oily or greasy.

Lastly, I give my lips a little scrub with my Bubblegum Lip Scrub by Lush. This little scrub has grown on me. I find it so refreshing and it keeps my lips moist throughout the day. Ever since I started using this I haven't had dry lips! I apply a little bit to my bottom then top lip and then put my lips together and give them a full scrub.

Ta Da! And that is all! As you can see my routine is extremely simple and basic but it gives me good and glowing skin which I am currently enjoying!

Quick Question: What is your favorite skin care product?

New Look, Next, Boots, Lush and More Haul!

Hello Lovelies!

How has everyone been? Firstly, HAPPY EASTER! I hope you're all getting ready to tuck into your Easter eggs and regret it afterwards! Yay! Hahaha.

So, if you follow me on twitter (@theycallmeezza), you may know that on Friday I went on a little shopping trip and got a few things, which I for one am very very happy with! And I just wanted to show you all and tell you what I think of them.

In the UK, we have two clothing stores which are called Next and New Look (you might have them in your country and adore them as much as we do) and I love their latest clothing and accessories!

First of all from Next, I brought this blue top with white dots, which you put over a vest top and I love how it's so summery and how you can wear it in the day time and in the evenings.

From New Look, I brought a grey blazer that the material of it is actually like a cardigan and I love that! I think it's great for spring and summer evenings when going out to somewhere nice! Also, it's just generally nice for special occasions.

Going back to Next, I then brought this mint colour button up blouse with little birds on it and I thought it was so cute! With this, you also put a vest top underneath. As again, this is brilliant for the spring and summer seasons!

Back to New Look, I brought this long gold necklace which has little beady bits and a feather hanging off the end, I been needing something like this for ages now and I never really found one that I liked, thank goodness I found this!

Lastly, I brought this burgundy bag from New Look and can we all just have a second of silence and take a look at this bag....IT IS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE! I am in officially in love with this bag, it's so perfect for me as I tend to put quite a few things into my bag. It's just paradise.

Now on to Boots! I love Boots. I think every girl in the UK loves Boots. It has everything that a girl will ever need!

If you know me, you'd probably know that I stress out... a lot. And this tends to give me spots! Oh huzzah. So, I saw this little beauty and I thought I will give it a spin. I hope this will help my skin and me to relax and chill for a while.

Now, this is one of the prettiest nail vanishes that I've ever seen! The colour of this is called Pistachio Drage by L'Oreal, which comes out like a minty kind of colour, and I can't stop bragging on how much I adore this! As you can see in the picture, I do have it on my nails at the moment and I can't seem to stop staring at them...Oh dear.

Lush. Oh Lush. Sweet Lush. Oh how I love the smell of Lush! I must of been in this shop for about half an hour just smelling all of their products!

I've heard about this lip scrub for a while now and I've been wanting to try it out. The smell of this is so so strong! And every time I smell it, I just want to eat it... But you can! This lip scrub is actually made out of sugar and is edible but I wouldn't advise you to eat the whole pot for health and safety reasons, haha. Moving swiftly on before I get sued...

Now, for a little special treat... I went to Debenhams as well on Friday but I also been going throughout the week too and I picked up a couple of samples of products that I've been dying to try.

The first sample that I picked up was the Clarins Face Treatment Oil in Lotus. Lately, I have had quite oily skin ,because of the weather changing, and it been especially at night! I had tried moisturizers but they're just not helping! So, I had a little chat to the Clarins lady about it and she recommended this and it has been so wonderful to my skin! I feel so refreshed and not so oily in the morning! I will be going back to buy the full product, believe me!

The second and last sample that I picked up was the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra in 01 and I love this so much that I don't seem to have much more of the sample (sad face) but I found this product incredible! It felt so light on my face and the coverage was very good especially as I'm always running around getting errands done, I only needed to powder once! Once!

Then, when I went shopping Friday, I brought this glamorous product from Benefits! I was so excited to finally buy something fro Benefits as I've never brought anything from them before. So, this my lovelies is the Big Easy BB Cream and this is very very good! The SPF is 35 which we all know is pretty damn good! It also helps control moisture and oiliness on the face which is good for the summer and warm days. Overall, this product is brilliant indeed!

With the BB Cream, I got a free Fake Up concealer which is also from Benefits. I'm still debating with myself about this product. It is meant to cover up the dark circles under the eyes and diffuse fine lines but I'm just not seeing it yet. I don't know if I'm not using it right or if I'm just too young to use it. Hmm, let me get back to you all about this.

So, overall I had a very successful shopping trip and I very much enjoyed it! I hope you all have a lovely weekend and Easter!

See You Soon!

DIY with E : The Many Uses of a Used Coffee Pot!

Hell-O Lovelies!

How has your Sunday been? Are you nice and relaxed? Or doing a weekly shop? Either way, I hope you're enjoying it! So, today I wanted to post about something relating to DIY and being creative because lately I have been and I wanted you, yes YOU, to get creative too! In the last month or so, I've found so many used coffee jars around the house and I wanted to do something with them. So, I thought why not use them for storage! The ideas in my mind then started to become into reality...

The steps of making a clear coffee jar is extremely easy! All you really need to do is put a normal coffee jar (still having the paper of the logo on the jar) into a bowl of hot/boiling water then leave it in there for half an hour minimum. Then when the time is up, start pealing off the paper and the glue. If all of it doesn't come off, put it back into the water for another 10-20 minutes.

When all of the paper and glue has come off of it, you can either decorate it like this with paints:

or just leave it clear. Your choice!

These little and big jars are so handy! Especially, if you have run out of room to things things away, like me! I used them for things such as nail vanishes, makeup brushes, money and candles!

I hope this idea comes in use for you! I would love to hear and see what you've put in yours! You know where to find me!

See You Soon!
